Inject some summer sun into your outfits when the temperamental British summer weather looks more like autumn!

Hey Beautiful ladies!

So the sun has been trying to break its way through the grey skies. At the moment, I am staying at my parent’s house in the rainy lake district and it’s safe to say during the evenings the temperatures do drop dramatically! So on a recent evening out with friends, I had to pull out my long sleeved maxi dress I purchased from a small boutique in London in February and tights from February time! It’s supposed to be June!

I wanted a simple way to jazz up a drab outfit and inject some summer sunshine into it.

I absolutely adore this wedges that I bought from Matalan at an absolute steal of £16. They are the perfect holiday accessory and also can be teamed up with a pair of tights or ankle socks for a cute, bang on trend yet warmer choice. Their tan colour also makes them so easy to accessorise with.

My statement necklace is from Claire’s accessories.

I love the two chains and the spikes make the perfect bold statement so much so that I didn’t feel the outfit needed anything else.

The over sized tan bag from Primark finished off the look complementing both the shoes and necklace beautifully.

I swept my hair into a neat and simple low pony tail to keep the focus on my lips and necklace (how very Kardashain of me!) and put on my fave mac lipstick on (“Red she said A53”)  to finish off the outfit and take the look from day to evening.

During the day when the sun is shining you can always loose the tights and change the wedges for a lovely set of gladiator sandals and a messy bun to keep yourself super cool but looking gorgeous.  I love these sandals from Matalan.

They complement the necklace beautifully! And don’t forget the sunnies 😉 They say summer like no other accessory!

Stay sunshiny and happy lovely ladies!
