This is AMAZING !!! Here’s to all you empowering, sexy, strong hot mammas!!
I took on a 12 week bikini body building challenge to tone up my post baby body ! Juggling breast feeding, sleepless nights & finding time for my husband, getting back in shape was a challenge. Once I got into the swing of motherhood & established a routine, I craved some much needed me time. As with any kind of quest for a healthy lifestyle, support is a major factor to succeeding. I wanted to achieve a complete lifestyle change, to kick unhealthy eating habits and tone up my body. I decided to look for some expert help ! Through my research I came across a UK based Fitness Coach Michelle Brannan, Michelle is a IFBB Professional Athlete & Founder of UK’s number… Read More →
Ok…. let me confirm from the get go, my little family are NOT the sporty type. We don’t revel in long hikes, we don’t all trundle up on our bikes and go for family rides nor do my husband and I have sporty hobbies. We are active of course but not in that ‘sporty’ way. At age 11, I was told that I would never been the athletic type. I was in the 2nd group (B team) at school for PE and with my curvy hips and large boobs things like long distance track or active type games requiring a less than attractive sports bra fitting at our local C&A, just didn’t fit well with my cool school cred. I… Read More →
Get Your Colours Right for Dating Success By our self-help expert and dating coach Dr Pam Spurr In my new book on dating I’ve covered how the colours you wear say so much about your personality when you go on a date. Of course every fashionista knows how colour can make a killer impact, but for the rest of us it can be a mystery. We know the basics like if you want someone to notice you then definitely wear red. But something like black can be either sexy and sensual or conservative. In my new dating guide I mention how when certain colours work better – or worse – at creating attraction and sexual chemistry. So don’t forget you definitely… Read More →
What he says about other women and what it says about him as a potential partner! By our self-help expert and dating coach Dr Pam Spurr If you’re single and dating, or maybe just met someone, it’s confusing about how to tell what a man’s really like. Because we know everyone puts their best foot forward at first. So is he as good as he seems? Sadly you might discover down the line he’s actually not so nice. With hindsight you realise you missed signals showing he wasn’t worth your time. But now it’s too late, you’ve been hurt or it’s just not been a good experience. Many women tell me if only they’d seen it coming they wouldn’t have… Read More →
I’m Too Young to Lose Sexual Desire By our self-help expert and dating coach Dr Pam Spurr In interviews for my new dating guide I spoke to loads of singles about dating and relationships. I was surprised how many singles in their 20s and early 30s struggled with sexual desire. Normally we assume women struggle with desire a bit later in life when they’re juggling careers, mortgages, children and might be in a relationship that’s gone a bit stale. Many younger women felt embarrassed to admit it. But it gave me the opportunity mention the following key ‘life levels’ for them to think about. Check these out and discover what might play into your lack of sexual desire: YOU AND HIM… Read More →
The dynamic has changed with the arrival of E and me and husband are so exhausted the mere thought of a date night it sometimes makes us even sleepier. ‘Want the kids overnight mum? Sure!’ Then our plans for a wild night, to go out and paint the town red slowly fizzle out and we end up at the cinema scoffing sugary treats to stay awake and watch a film like ‘normal’ couples. Ahhhh those 1st dates we used to have – remember them? We secretly hope we have enough energy to get home and….well you know. We now retire to bed as soon as the house looks vaguely tidy (I can’t see this changing for another 15… Read More →
Seven signs he has commitment issues By our self-help expert and dating coach Dr Pam Spurr You’re really into him, things are going well but they haven’t really progressed. You sense he’s holding back but it’s hard to say why. In interviews for my new dating guide THE LAWS OF SISTERHOOD – I heard lots of reasons why guys won’t take it to the next level. From he went through a messy breakup and swore off relationships – to his father had commitment issues. That meant his father was emotionally distant and has left your man finding it hard to get close to you. The problem is many men with commitment issues don’t let on they don’t want to take… Read More →
Sending a big virtual hug to you all…… After a brief hello and I am back, I am sorry to say I disappeared again into the fog of motherhood. Combined with a few personal upheavals, this year certainly has been one of the most enjoyable, saddest, hardest and fulfilling years I have had. I have loved every second of it and it has been one learning curve after another So….I wanted to start again and say HELLOOOO, I am STILL surviving motherhood 2nd time around and its been a crazy old year! Actually, I shouldn’t really say surviving, I should say enjoying – loving – embracing – happily living. All those worries I had, all those doubts about myself and… Read More →
